The Person
We are looking for a suitably qualified Electronics Engineer to join our team. To successfully carry out this role you will have experience in programming of microcontroller devices, CAD design for electronics, printed circuit board layout and driver circuitry. You should also be familiar with writing technical specifications and documentation. A proactive, enthusiastic attitude is essential, as well as the ability to operate in a multicultural and multifunctional environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing electronic design capability and integration expertise for the different printable electronics platforms within CPI. Your main accountabilities will be:
•Analogue and digital electronics design,
•Circuit design and build incorporating integration of conventional silicon electronics with the emerging field of printed electronics.
•Electrical test of circuits
The role will be involved with both public sector and commercial projects as well as interacting with colleagues to support and promote the development of this technology.
The Company
The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is a technology innovation centre working in the Sustainable Processing and Printable Electronics industries. The centre uses market knowledge and technology understanding to develop and prototype products and processes quickly and efficiently with minimal risk to its public and private sector partners.
CPI builds and provides assets to prove concepts and develop and demonstrate technology to reduce the risks of scaling new processes. We create collaborative partnerships between industry, academia as well as the public and private sectors to leverage resources and reduce development risks.
