The introduction of smart meters in millions of UK homes and businesses from 2014 looks set to deliver over £7 billion in benefits to the UK economy, according to ClickGreen.
The Government scheme, which will be rolled out between 2014 and 2019, will see energy suppliers installing smart meters in 28 million homes and 2 million small businesses, helping consumers to save money on energy bills whilst slashing their carbon footprint.
