EEIF Member Narec has this week issued a call to tender to be part of the Blyth Offshore Wind Demonstration Project.
The demonstration site at Blyth, off the coast of Northumberland, is aiming to be a world-leading testing space for the next generation of offshore wind turbines. It will explore ways in which both the deployment of turbines can be sped up, and the cost of providing wind energy reduced.
